Ricky is Back in Madrid!

After joining the Brazil national team against Oman, Ricky is now back in Madrid, preparing for the next La Liga match between Los Galacticos and Racing Santander in Saturday. Photo & article are available below.

It was back to the daily grind for Real Madrid on Wednesday as preparations for Saturday’s match against Racing Santander continue. Kaka has returned from international duty, Gonzalo Higuain, who trained on his own yesterday, worked on several ball drills with the squad and Cristiano Ronaldo continued his recovery protocol.

The bulk of the squad, which today included Gonzalo Higuain, focused their preparations efforts on ball work following their routine morning jog.

Kaka is back in the Spanish capital and did light recover work after leaving Brazil camp following the Seleçao’s victories against England and Oman.

Cristiano Ronaldo continued his recovery work indoors after listening to what Manuel Pellegrini had to say during the team chat. The player was looked at yesterday by the team’s medical staff and had several x-rays taken. All signs indicate that he will be resume training with the squad on Friday.

Real Madrid vs Alcorcon (11/10) Photos & Highlights

Here are the photos of Ricky during the Copa del Rey second leg match between Real Madrid and Alcorcon in Santiago Bernabeu last night. Los Blancos beat Alcorcon 1-0 but however the score didn’t make them qualified to go to the next round.

According to Real Madrid’s official website:

Real Madrid tried hard to turn around their first leg defeat against Alcorcon, but had no luck. They dominated the match and had countless chances on goal throughout the entire game, but imprecisions in attack, up to three shots to the posts and goalkeeper Juanma’s excellent performance thwarted their chances and only allowed them to net one strike. Alcorcon made history at the Bernabeu by reaching the Last 16 of Copa del Rey.
